monic distortion and power factor better than
.995 without a sample/hold. The circuit operates
over a line voltage range exceeding 3: 1 and at
loads approaching zero. Under these wide-rang-
ing conditions, the loop gain is constant and the
dynamic response to large transient changes in
line and load is excellent
