This seminar will in the first place provide a general overview about water mist technology for fire fighting. The physics behind water mist, the characterization of water mists, the methods how water mist can be generated and the extinguishing mechanisms of water mist will be addressed.
Based on those presentations, the attendees will get an overview about national and international guidelines as well as test protocols for water mist systems
