The new European Integrated Project (IP) FLOODsite addresses issues regarding flood processes, methods and procedures to determine and manage floods and related risks in coastal areas, rivers and estuaries. Overall, 36
partner institutions from 13 EU Member States are involved in FLOODsite. The total EU grant to the project budget comprises 9.68 Mio. Euro over 5 years. The project itself is split into 7 Themes (Risk analysis, Risk management, Integration, Pilot Sites, Training, Networking and Coordination).
